Refund Policy

RETURNS


All returns are free. Our policy lasts 10 days. If 10 days have gone by since your order delivery, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Proof of defect or damage is mandatory, anything in the form of images or videos.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Returns will only be accepted if products are damaged during transit or have any quality defect. Edgability records images/video during packing the products, easier to tally any defects traced by the customers.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Stationery, footwear, earrings cannot be returned. We also do not accept product returns that have no visible defect or damage.

Downloadable software products
Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase, this includes order confirmation email or invoice, as well as a proof of damage on the product. Proof in the form of photos or videos are mandatory. 

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
Books / stationery with obvious signs of use
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 10 days after delivery


REFUNDS (if applicable)


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Cash on delivery order refunds will be converted as credit voucher of the same value of the order item(s).

Order deliveries over 75 working days call for full refunds to customers in the same format as used by customer to pay. This doesn't apply to COD orders. An alternative to the order placed, can be provided to the customer solely dependent on his/her preference. Orders that are processed and dispatched cannot be canceled for refund, only a credit note can be provided. Customer cancellations before order delivery timeframe will be refunded the amount after deducting service fee for transactions made online at Edgability.com

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first, kindly check your bank account.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted, this could vary from 5-15 working days depending solely on the customer's bank flexibility.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at edgability@gmail.com we can initiate a credit voucher of the same value of the order item(s) till the time the refund is done, and either can be accepted by the customer.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded unless there's a transit damage or quality defect in the product(s).

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at edgability@gmail.com, we do not provide any alternative.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a credit voucher will be granted of the same amount, in the form of a coupon code.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return. A credit voucher can be shared with the gift giver or the gift receiver. 

Shipping
To return your product, you should contact us via email and we shall share details of a return address. Send us an email at edgability@gmail.com

All returns are free. The return will only be done from the address where it was delivered to. Order amount of the item returned will be done directly to the same account used for paying, or as credit voucher for Cash on Delivery orders. Returns can take anywhere from 5-25 working days.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. Timeframe will depend on the availability of the product and the distance from the fulfillment centers.
